Situation
In this project, Communication Studies ’18 of Diponegoro University held a creative multi-events for Indonesian youth in 2021. My team especially acquired to handle an online photography contest with theme: “Potrait of Marginalized People”, which intended to provided representation for marginalized or minoriry people, such as less fortunate people, difable, queer, and more all around us.
Actions
I posed as Team Leader or Event Coordinator 1 that focused on coordinating and communicating with other divisions to make sure our contest needs were fulfilled:
- Arranged online photography contest for PARAMA FEST 2021 (@paramafest2021).
- Coordinated meetings, tracked members’ tasks with Coordinator 2, collaborated with Public Relations & Creative divisions, and wrote finalization of Photography Contest division’s proposal & report alongside Coordinator 2, Secretary & Financial Manager.
- Helped to advertise PARAMA FEST 2021 dan Photography Contest using Instagram Ads.
Results
Our efforts to made the contest went smoothly, resulting in accomplishment of 156 participants and a 2.79% increase in photography division’s revenue.
